The Sierra Negra Volcano boasts the second-largest active crater in the world, stretching over 5 miles in diameter. After a rewarding 3-hour hike to the caldera, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views. We will then descend to Volcán Chico, a surreal landscape of lava formations and volcanic vents, where your guide will explain the fascinating geological evolution of the islands.

Your Experience Step by Step
Your adventure begins at 7:20 a.m. when our guide meets you at your hotel. You will join a small group of 16 explorers and a certified naturalist guide specialized in volcanology. A scenic 45-minute bus ride will take us to the entrance of the Galapagos National Park.
